How we live
leaves a mark.
A note from Tom
We live in a world that seems to be moving faster every day. So much of our time is spent solving problems, making difficult decisions, responding to change, and dealing with whatever needs our attention next. Yet beneath all this activity, many of us sense that something is missing.
I have experienced that feeling myself. Much of my life has been spent creating businesses, leading organizations, and working with people through growth, change, and uncertainty. Along the way, I began to wonder whether there might be a wiser way to live and lead.
A family journey through the Serengeti offered an unexpected perspective. Life there moved with its own natural rhythms. Nothing seemed hurried, yet nothing was left undone. I began to recognize how Nature’s principles might also shape our lives, relationships, and organizations.
My first book, Footprint, grew from that experience. Through stories, reflection, and photography, it explores the natural rhythms of creating, connecting, growing, and evolving — and what they might reveal about the choices we make every day.
Footprint is not a book of quick fixes. It is an invitation to pause, pay attention, and rediscover what has always been around us — a more conscious way of living and leading, inspired by Nature.
